Michael Mundell, son of Tom and Diane (Weber) Mundell('74-'79), is currently deployed with the 2nd Battalion / 2nd Marines. They are a part of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, which means they are deployed on Navy ships. They left Camp Lejeune, NC on January 5, and are expected to return in early July.
They are in the Mediterranean, and expect to go through the Suez Canal to the Middle East. Specific countries that they may go into are unknown at this time. Please pray for Michael, as well as all the troops who are deployed.
Phil Lookadoo('76-'77) is proud to announce his daughter Rachel's graduation
with Honors from Baylor University (Dec 2006) and the birth of another
beautiful daughter Hayley (born Sep 2006) to join Hayley's big sister
Madison (born Jan 2003). Phil and Tracey, mother of Maddie and Hayley, were
married on July 28, 2001 (and, obviously, Phil never plans to retire!).
Ernie Mathews('87-'89) was married to Holly-Katharine Johnson in May 2006. They
met in choir at Trinity Church in Princeton New Jersey, so the ceremony
featured their favorite choral music.
Cindy Gray('93-'96) is preparing to move this summer to West Asia to serve there. If

John and Joy (Shearon) Eure('94-'99) welcomed the birth of their daughter, Annmarie Shearon Eure, on March 29, 2006. Click here to see a picture.

Liz Doughty('98-'01) and Ross Kane('00-'02) were married on November 11th in Vienna, Virginia. Liz and Ross met in Jubilate and after both finished 3-year stints in Africa with the Peace Corps and the Espiscopal Church, respectively, they met up again state-side. They are living in Chapel Hill, NC where Liz is pursuing a Master in Public Health Policy at UNC and Ross is pursing a Master of Divinity at Duke.
Charles and Randa (Moyers) Hendricks('98-'01) are pleased to announce the birth of their second
daughter, Sophia Isabella Hendricks, born on July 13, 2006. Hannah (age 2)
is the proud big sister.
Jessica Aikin('00-'01) was married to Matthew Kunz at the UVA Chapel on June 25,
2006.
On January 13, 2007, Nicki Baran('02-'05) and Charles Shepard were married in the UVA Chapel in a ceremony featuring musical contributions from Alba Beasley and Jim Sively. After moving to Jackson, MS for graduate school, Nicki met Charles at a church Bible study in September 2005. They became engaged in June 2006. They will reside in Jackson until Nicki finishes school in December 2007, at which time Charles will pursue a law degree. For a picture of the happy couple click here.
Sarah Hardy('02-'06) became engaged to her high school sweetheart, Alex Coleman, last April. They plan to wed on July 3, in Annandale Va.
