John and Sandi (Springston) Shearin('84-'88) are pleased to announce the birth of Benjamin "Ben" Hunter Shearin on March 23, 2007. He was welcomed home by his older brother, Will.
Ernie Mathews('87-'89) and his wife Holly-Katharine announce the arrival of their daughter Valentine Liberty on April 18. At 7 pounds 13 ounces and 20 inches, she is already turning heads (picture here). She was born at 1:13 PM and she's the 13th cousin in the family. It's no accident that 13 is her mother's lucky number!
Beth Kinne('92-'93, Coll '96) and husband, Darrin Magee, are expecting their first child in late April/early May of this year.
Brian('94-'01) and Renee Thomas had a baby boy, Nathan on March 20, 2007. He was 8lb, 8 oz at birth. Nathan seems to be very interested in his toys

which play music, particularly Mozart, and already owns 2 UVA outfits, so Brian has high hopes of sending him off to Jubilate some day.
Brian and Adrienne (O'Keefe) Nicholson('96-'98,'99-00) are proud to announce the birth of their
twin daughters, Stephanie Anne Nicholson and Teresa Marie Nicholson, on January 24, 2007. They were welcomed home by big sisters, Catherine(4) and Mackenzie(2),
Shane Painter('98-'01) opened his own law practice on April 2, 2007. Shane's practice is in Tupelo, Mississippi and his primary practice will be residential real estate law. Shane previously clerked for the Honorable Glen H. Davidson, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi. Shane is a 2005 graduate of the University of Mississippi Law School.
